What we collect,
and what we don't.

The short version

• Reading a recipe requires nothing from you. No account, no login.
• We only hold an email address if you deliberately give us one.
• We don't sell your data. There is nothing to sell.
• Email hello@crispkitchen.recipes and we'll delete what we hold.

If you subscribe to the newsletter

We store the email address you submit, and nothing else. It's used to send recipes and occasional updates. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Our email is handled by beehiiv (beehiiv.com), who process it on our behalf as a data processor. Subscription is double opt-in: we email you a confirmation link and add you to the list only when you click it. The lawful basis is your consent, given by confirming, and you can withdraw it at any time.

If you email us

Mail to hello@crispkitchen.recipes is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail inbox. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to answer you.

Hosting and traffic data

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — IP address, browser type, page requested — to serve pages and block attacks. We use this only in aggregate, and we do not attempt to identify individuals.

Advertising

We do not currently show ads and no advertising scripts run on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated before any ad code is added, and you'll be given the cookie choices the law requires.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which recipes get read. It is cookieless and does not fingerprint you, track you across other sites, or collect anything that identifies you personally — it records the page, the referrer, the country and the browser, and nothing else. That is why there is no cookie banner on this site: there is nothing to consent to.

The newsletter sign-up is an embedded beehiiv form, and beehiiv may set cookies on its own form infrastructure — their policy covers that.

Links to other sites

We link to our own profiles on YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook. Once you're on those platforms their privacy policies apply, not ours.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@crispkitchen.recipes and we'll action it. If you're unhappy with how we respond, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
